Theoretical course: Wheel arch extension Stage 1 for the BMW E36

Learn how to professionally widen a wheel arch and get it into perfect shape!

In this special course unit, I will show you step by step live on a BMW E36 how the Stage 1 wheel arch extension is carried out. Although it is a theoretical course, I work directly on the vehicle to explain all the processes clearly. This way, you can see every technique in practice, understand the finer points of sheet metal processing and gain insights that you won't find in any tutorial.

What is a Stage 1 wheel arch extension?

- Approx. 2-3 cm wider per side for a subtle but effective look
- Perfect solution for wider rims without destroying the original look
-Front Fenders are used as donor panels and inserted at the rear – a proven method for an exact fit

Instead of making the sheets ourselves, we use front fenders on the rear axle to achieve a clean and stable widening. I will explain to you exactly how to optimally adjust, fix and work in the donor sheets to achieve a professional result.

-Perfectly adapt the front fenders as donor panels
- Professionally install, weld and fix the wheel arch
- Sand transitions cleanly and achieve a perfect surface
